Join us for a llamazing special afternoon at Aquila’s Nest Vineyards for LLAMA TIME & WINE! Learn all about these lovely, calm creatures while sipping your favorite Llibation with Rowanwood Farm’s rare miniature llamas. This one-hour event brings you close to the llamas – close enough to take selfies with them! You may find the llamas standing or sitting in a favorite area – they like to choose a spot to enjoy the vineyard views – giving you a llamazing vineyard backdrop for your photos. Learn more about llamas by asking questions of our volunteers, as llamas visit your table while you sip and enjoy the beauty of Aquila’s Nest Vineyard. This event is open to all ages; non-alcoholic drink options are available. Children will need a ticket, too. Based right here in Newtown, Rowanwood Farm is Connecticut’s only mini llama hiking adventure company and farm! Their Peruvian, Bolivian, Chilean, and Argentinian mini llamas are a well-loved part of our family. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your event starts and check in at the indoor winery tasting room to make the $10 min for adult participants / $4 min for underage participants winery drink purchase that is required to attend this event. Aquila’s Nest has many non-alcoholic options. Outside Alcohol Beverages, Water Bottles or Any Other Beverages are NOT allowed to be brought in the premises of the vineyard. This is a restriction of our Farm Winery Permit. Our staff reserves the right to check bags and coolers. CANCELLATION POLICY Ticket is non refundable.
