Aquila's Nest Vineyards has partnered with 80+ local women-owned businesses and over 100 small businesses in Connecticut to provide our guests a variety of unique experiences. We're hosting this Small Business Speed Networking Hour in partnership with the Connecticut Small Business Development Center to connect and empower our local small business owners in 2024! 🎉 As the year draws to a close, it's the perfect time to reflect on your professional journey, expand your network, and lay the foundation for a successful year ahead. Join us for an electrifying End of the Year Business Speed Networking event that promises to be the grand finale of networking opportunities! Event Highlights: 🤝 High-Impact Networking: This event is all about making connections. You'll have the chance to engage in a series of fast-paced, one-on-one networking sessions, each lasting 10min. Exchange business cards, pitch your ideas, and discover potential collaborators. 🚀 Elevator Pitches: Prepare a concise and compelling elevator pitch about your business or project. You'll have the opportunity to present it to your networking partners during the timed sessions. 💼 Diverse Participants: Network with professionals from a wide range of industries and backgrounds. Engage with several advisors from the Connecticut Small Business Development Center. 📊 Resource Exchange: Discover valuable resources, services, and expertise that can help you grow your business. Whether it's marketing, partnerships, or strategic advice, you might find what you need. How to Participate: 1. Prepare: Craft a compelling elevator pitch and gather your business cards or digital contact information. 2. Dress Code: Professional attire is recommended, whether you're attending in person or virtually. 3. Engage: Participate actively in the speed networking sessions, workshops, and discussions. Be open to new connections and possibilities. 4. Follow-Up: After the event, follow up with the contacts you've made to solidify your connections and explore potential collaborations. One Glass of Wine or Non Alcoholic Drink is included in the ticket, and can be picked up after our staff checks your ID. Aquila's Nest has many non-alcoholic options as well. Outside Alcohol Beverages, Water Bottles or Any Other Beverages are NOT allowed to be brought in the premises of the vineyard. This is a restriction of our Farm Winery Permit.
